1. The above quote from Justice Warren reinforces how important it is that prosecutors and judges understand the spirit of our laws and their impact on people.
2. We still have so many people trying to dig out from under driver’s responsibilities fees, a hidden tax that really hurts poor people and their ability to get relicensed. Read full article here.
3. A movement is afoot to end age limit for judges. I have always thought that serving too long on the bench had more effect on a judge’s ability than any arbitrary retirement age. Read full article here.
4. Abortion, one of our country’s most divisive issues is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court again with a Texas case requiring abortion clinics to have a hospital affiliation. I will keep you posted.
